I have been happily married for 30 years to my wife Carol. Our one daughter Kim has provided us with four lovely grandchildren. Having spent the major part of my childhood in Indiana, my one true passion is basketball, but I also love both water and snow skiing.
After a successful career managing software development projects for over thirty years, I returned to the classroom at the University of Michigan – Flint where I earned a Masters in Elementary Education majoring in Math with a minor in Science. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University where I majored in Computer Science. In addition, I hold a Masters in Business Administration from Rockhurst College in Kansas City, MO.
My primary goal as a teacher is to instill confidence within each student so that they can realize their full potential. I teach math in a manner that focuses on understanding each of the concepts covered. My students quickly learn that the answer to a problem is the result of the math concepts they apply.
I am proud to be part of the staff here at OLF and truly enjoy teaching Math in the middle school.
