Music
Singing is perhaps the most important part of the music class. Using the unique instrument that lies within each of us is profoundly rewarding. The rhythm instruments provide an opportunity for all students to explore the basics of rhythm patterns. I have extensive training in the Kodaly approach to music learning. The four major principles of the approach include the philosophy that all students should have the opportunity to become musically literate, singing is the best avenue for music learning, use the highest quality music possible for teaching, and begin music education early in life.
